Time
is a great healer that's what they say,
I
do not agree, as I have seen this as clear as day,
When
you are happy a moment passes in a jiffy,
When
in pain the moment becomes an aeon,
As
time passes, we cover up the pain,
In
a dust cover we let it remain.
In
moments of strife, loneliness or grief,
The
dust cover moves away, to uncover the wound,
Time
doesn't heal, that's what I say!

I have a different take on this. Time only makes you understand pain.Take an analogy - when you are wounded, in course of time the wound heals and the pain subsides though the scars remain and every time you look at the scar you understand that pain you underwent when wounded. we move on with the scars but the pain has subsided. It is pain more than those moments of joy which takes you to a greater understanding of our life.
