Then
I would move freely just keeping afloat,
Nothing
to bind me,
Nothing
to confine me,
A
boat without an anchor,
A
boat without an oar,
Just
moving on freely,
In
the direction of the wind,
Unmindful
of the waves, or of the stones,
Or
of the people waiting on the shore,
What
a wonderful free life would have been mine,
If
only I was a boat ,

Many a time i have wished that I was a bird soaring into the skies you may say like 'Jonathan Livingston seagull'. That sense of freedom and Solitude has always been with me. You have beautifully penned this poem. I sense a gradual shift in your writings towards the exploration of you inner world and I am sure this will will lead to higher levels of creativity. All the best in your quest!
I had also written something like this many years ago.. reproduced here for you:
I want to be a bird,
To be able to fly,
Freely in the sky,
As high as I want to.
I want to be sky,
To be able to expand,
Into the infinity,
As much as I want to.
I want to be a river,
To be able to flow,
Over the rocks and vales,
As fast as I want to.
But I can’t be a bird,
Neither sky nor even a river,
Because I am a woman,
A wife and a mother.
